Choose a style that works with your body shape and makes you feel amazing. A strapless gown that needs to be hitched up or constantly adjusted isn’t a good look, neither is a set of unsupported DD’s in a plunging v neck. You need to be able to eat drink, dance and enjoy yourself in the gown without feeling subconscious.
Even the strongest bride can be easily swayed by the opinion of a friend or family member, we see it in our boutique a lot. You need to remember everyone has varying taste, and not everyone will love your dress as much as you do. (sorry but it’s true). For your wedding day it’s your opinion that counts. If you constantly need assurance from your posse than this may be a sign to keep looking. Make sure you would choose the dress even if your shopping alone. You need to feel amazing on the day and beyond, the differing opinion of a friend will mean nothing after your wedding if you love how you looked and felt in the dress.
Similar to the point above, you want to make sure you’re buying the dress for no other reason except you love it. Not because your mom prefers another one you had your eye on, or because it’s the size and style you aspire to fit into in 8 months, or because the salon is closing soon and your getting a great deal.You will remember this day for the rest of your life so make sure its full of positive feelings and emotions, this is not the day to regret decisions. Don’t force it, feel pressured or rush it, make sure it feels right.
